EazyBI can't import fields which are linked to the local REST API datasource

    XMLWordPrintable

    Details

    • Type: Bug
    • Status: Dev Analysis
    • Priority: Major
    • Resolution: Unresolved
    • Affects Version/s: 5.12.4
    • Fix Version/s: None
    • Labels:
    • Environment:

      Atlassian

    • Functional components:
3rd party - Automation for Jira

      Description

      How to reproduce

      • Set the Local Jira db datasource in nFeed
      • Set a read-only nFeed field which is linked to this datasource. Populate it with the current issue key for example:
        • URL Path: api/2/issue/$issue.id
        • Root element: $
        • Column:
          id name JSON Path
          0 key $.key
        • Template: {key}
      • Import this field using the predefined Jira REST API datasource in EazyBI

      Current result

      • The field is not imported
      • Error:
"Errors: {}\nError Messages: [Error ! Response code from server : '403']"
In the same time the following error is printed out in the atlassian-jira.log file
"ServletContext.getContext() is null. Rest Api Authentication failed."

      Expected result
      The field is well imported

      Workaround

      • The workaround is to define one more Jira REST API datasource with Authentication type HTTP Basic and use it instead of predefined Jira REST API datasource.
